Early in our relationship, before my wife-to-be and I even realized we were dating, we started calling ourselves Team Awesome because of how well we worked together. In planning our ceremony, we decided to end it with, I know present to you Team Awesome. So it was only natural that I use my graphic design skills to make business cards with Team Awesome on them for our guests to take home.
The illustration on those cards mirrored the look of our wedding invitations, but was not aging well. I recently taught myself the Kawaii style of illustration for my godson’s wedding gift and our 10th anniversary gift. Ellen and I had a notion of starting a YouTube channel and I had started to develop an illustration for that in the Kawaii style.
I dusted off those illustrations and refined them some more and refreshed the font for the new Team Awesome logo, t-shirts, business cards.We are both very pleased with the updated look and love wearing our matching t-shirts to events!
