Authentic Vintage Watercolor Apples Volume 1 is a collection of 12 high quality watercolor illustrations from the USDA Pomological (aka Fruit) Watercolor Collection. This collection was commissioned by the US government in the late 19th Century and 20th Century to document the fruits and nuts for use in lithographs to illustrate bulletins and other media of the era.
I’ve scanned through the archives of 7,500+ images and hand picked these gorgeous, authentic vintage watercolor illustrations for use in alcohol and beverage labels, product packaging, preserve labels, event posters, and more. I’ve separated each apple and each apple half from its background so that you have complete creative control. In addition, I’ve restored the original illustration’s textured backgrounds and added them as their own element to add that extra vintage touch. And if that wasn’t enough, I’m including the raw original JPG file.
